Water & Light

All of the elements are unique and fascinating in their own way. Many things can also be considered an 'element'.

Water, Fire, Air, and Earth are the classic ones, and sometimes we refer to a mysterious 5th element in that scheme to create something special. Some call her Leeloo with orange hair, while others think his name is Avatar or something similar.

Some Eastern traditions have a model with already five elements. In addition to other minor differences, they also include Wood in their scheme.

Some mystics today have gone wild and started to create all kinds of methodologies where they add other elements to their list, such as Space or Light.

In theory, you can create any form with any number of elements and establish any kind of relationships between them.

Some cultures and traditions are very black and white in their approach to playing the game. Their perception is polar and dualistic: man vs. woman, good vs. bad, shadow vs. light, hell vs. heaven, etc.

Others are very 'colourful' cultures. They embrace diversity and creativity, playing with the entire visible spectrum of colours, not just black and white. Their definition of good and bad is often more nuanced and complex.

It's contextual. Their usual answer would be, "It's neither good nor bad." All depends on the intention and the context. They are more flexible in their beliefs and less corrupted by collective assumptions about what is love and what is not.

...

You can often study how advanced a tribe or community is by simply observing how many 'elements' they can properly play with and master simultaneously.

Some communities are very 'Earthy.' They are mainly focused on nature and preservation. They create minimalist gardens in the forest and take care of their bodies.

Others are very 'Watery.' They create 'emotional soups' together, crying and using drugs to liberate the pain of the world's suffering. They heal their inner child trauma and their grandmother's past life.

Some play with Fire. They initiate themselves by burning away what no longer serves them. They use the force and intensity of deep pain to transmute it somewhere else.

They often don't know where they are actually sending what they have burned, but that's another conversation. Even with Fire, you don't actually destroy anything; you just transform it into something else somewhere else.

Monotone (or single-element) communities often become very boring very soon. If we praise only one way of thinking and glorify only one 'element,' we sometimes become more like a 'cult' and not a living, constantly evolving community.

...

There are some very interesting places around the world where people play with many different elements at the same time. Thanks to this, they can perform very unusual and miraculous feats.

They also sometimes co-create new and unique elements.

Literally, the sky is not the limit when you understand how to properly combine various 'fractals' or elements in a system to increase the overall coherence of the whole.

But to do this, we need to learn how to play with two or more concepts at the same time in our awareness.

Most people are already good at doing this with two elements. The most understood one in our collective consciousness seems to be the Water & Fire duo.

So, of course, I will not be talking about this one.

I want to open this exploration by considering something else. How do you think Water & Light would dance together? If you combine these two elements in your perception, what happens? What can we co-create if we skillfully use the power of Water & Light with coherence and 'reason'?

Light and Fire are not the same! They do not have the same density, the same physical properties, or perform the same function in the macro system of our reality.

They are two completely different powers and elements.

Fire produces Light. We often make fires to create light and heat. It's very cool and efficient.

Sometimes Light can produce Fire, but we usually try to avoid this particular alchemy. We don't want to burn ourselves or our surroundings. So we have become very good at protecting our Light to not create too much Fire in us and around us.

This becomes interesting and gives me many ideas for the role of Fire in this multidimensional dance of elements. But, let's come back to the actual topic of contemplation for today.

Water & Light.

I have already explored a little bit the concept of Light in one of my reflections called "Rainbow Phoenix." So I will not go into more detail here about the physical properties of Light. Go read that if it's something that interests you.

But I will say a few additional words about Water.

Water is a uniquely powerful element.

More than 60% of you is water. Life originated in water. Even yours. You were in water in the womb of your mother.

Water is simple, transparent, and tasteless and odorless.

Water is the only element that can exist in all three phases in Nature: gas, liquid, and solid.

Sometimes it can take the form of a very special combination of all those phases simultaneously. If you live in a country like Canada, you probably know what I am talking about. In physics/thermodynamics, we call this the Triple Point of a substance.

When an element is in a state of equilibrium between temperature and pressure to enter this magical Triple Point phase, we start accessing some very interesting properties and powers in that state.

By knowing how to observe and play with water properly, we can actually learn the most amazing tools and tricks of mystic and ancient alchemy processes.

Gold is nothing compared to what you can do with water. We prefer gold because we fear the real powers of water. Gold is safe and stable. Water can be anything and everywhere. Water can create almost by herself.

All she needs is one particle that has the desire to live and develop its own consciousness. Water can create an entire forest out of that one particle with a will to be something else at the beginning.

How does she do this magic?

She stores, communicates, and shares the memory in her morphogenetic field of the entire collective consciousness.

And because we are mainly made of water, we can actually communicate with her to access her field of unlimited consciousness directly through our bodies.

The thing with water is: the deeper you go, the less you can see and the less you can breathe too.

If you go into the real depths of the ocean, it's cold, dark, and the pressure of water will probably break every single one of your bones.

To explore the depths of waters, we need very good protection around us and we also need Light!

So what happens when you bring Light into Water?

....

One of the things we did at our graduation party from engineering school was to put some crazy light configurations in the big pool and then cover it with a huge plexiglass to create a transparent dance floor over the pool.

You don't even need any drugs to get very high when you dance your brain off on the floor of a Water & Light skillful engineering construct.

Everyone is amazed with rainbows and soap bubbles. This is exactly what Light and Water do together.

This is also how it's very different from Fire. Water extinguishes Fire. It's as simple as that. But Light makes water even more magical and beautiful.

Water enables the process of Diffraction of Light. And this is really cool and wild.

Diffraction means that you can actually bend a wave or a frequency in a certain direction. You can change the physical properties of Light thanks to the diffraction process. And Water can diffract Light in many possible combinations.

Water can easily create reflections and illusions because it masters the diffraction of Light with astonishing precision.

So maybe, just maybe, life actually originated from Water dancing with Light and managing to lock themselves in the game of mirrors of all kinds of very creative diffractions and reflections.

Maybe this is what the Womb is?

...

If you think rainbows are magical and mystical, you are still very naïve and don't see the astonishing orchestra and power of those two playing a game together.

There are many other 'scientific' and also mystical ideas to contemplate about this particular alchemical process between Water & Light.

The interaction of Light with Water involves several fascinating and sometimes mysterious physical properties. Here are some of the most intriguing ones:

1. Refraction

Refraction is the bending of light as it passes from one medium to another with a different density, such as from air to water. The change in speed causes the light to change direction. This effect is responsible for phenomena like the apparent bending of a straw in a glass of water.

2. Total Internal Reflection

When light passes from water to air at a steep angle, it can be completely reflected back into the water rather than refracted out. This phenomenon is called total internal reflection and is the principle behind fiber optics.

3. Dispersion

Dispersion occurs when light separates into its constituent colors because different wavelengths are refracted by different amounts. This is why a prism or raindrops can create a rainbow, with each color bending by a different degree.

4. Scattering

Scattering of light by water molecules and impurities can lead to various effects. Rayleigh scattering, which scatters shorter wavelengths of light more effectively, is why the sky appears blue. In water, scattering contributes to its bluish color in large volumes.

5. Polarization

Light can become polarized when it reflects off a surface, including water. Polarized light waves oscillate in a particular direction. This property is utilized in polarized sunglasses to reduce glare by blocking horizontally polarized light.

6. Surface Tension and Reflection

The smooth surface of water due to surface tension can create clear reflections, almost mirror-like, under the right conditions. This can create stunning visual effects, such as the reflection of a mountain range on a calm lake.

7. Bioluminescence Interaction

In some bodies of water, bioluminescent organisms can produce light, which interacts with the water to create glowing effects. This natural light emission can be stimulated by the movement of water, creating eerie and beautiful light shows in the ocean.

8. Water Droplet Lenses

Small water droplets can act as lenses, focusing light into tiny points. This can sometimes create interesting visual effects, like miniature rainbows within each droplet or intense focal points that can even cause minor burns under strong sunlight.

9. Capillary Waves and Light Diffraction

The tiny ripples or capillary waves on the surface of water can cause diffraction of light, leading to complex patterns of light and shadow, known as caustics. These patterns can often be seen at the bottom of a swimming pool.

10. Fluorescence

Certain substances dissolved in water can absorb light at one wavelength and re-emit it at another. This fluorescence can be used in various scientific applications, such as tracing water movement or detecting pollutants.

11. Cherenkov Radiation

In certain conditions, such as in nuclear reactors, charged particles can move through water faster than the speed of light in that medium, producing a blue glow known as Cherenkov radiation. This phenomenon is not common in everyday life but is a fascinating aspect of light-water interaction.

...

Do you see how vast the playing field is when Light and Water interact together?

Do you see how science and theoretical physics are actually more advanced in consciousness studies than you could have ever imagined? The 'spiritual' comprehension and integration of Light that scientists and engineers have is actually very deep and very coherent.

The most profound wisdom that Water & Light teach us is flexibility and open-mindedness.

They may seem strange, wild, weird, and too 'magical' together. But their way of expressing the power of creativity when together is also highly scientific!
