EMOTIONAL HEALTH SYSTEM

We have the body health system

We have the mind health system

Where exactly is hidden and why

The health system of emotional heart

It sounds like such a naive question

But take a moment to contemplate

And tell me frankly, where do you go

When it's your emotions that are sick

When everything seems perfect

With your amazing body and mind

But this energetic core in your chest

Is yelling, screaming, crying from pain

What kind of clinic or hospital do you call

How much will those services cost you

Do you have access to the resources

To properly take care of your emotions

Or maybe drugs are cheaper, simpler

Maybe pornography is easier, faster

Maybe over-abusing, over-something

Is way more efficient in our modern world

There are 6 to 12 months waiting lists

For poor people who need some love

Who need to be listened to with heart

Who need to be held in compassion

It costs you more to see a proper therapist

Than to buy a few pounds of very legal pills

It is less weird and more socially accepted

To be a complete addict than to simply talk

But you have access to nasty drugs

Both legal and illegal, almost instantly

Apparently, there is not enough kindness

To take care of suffering humans simply

Don't you find this incoherent

Don't you think it's very weird

Doesn't this make you angry

Don't you feel sad, powerless

Most of the "insane" and "crazy"

Are just deeply suffering beings

Their real problem is not mental

It's their soul that needs healing

But they have nowhere to go, no one

The only systems who seem to get it

Are criminals, dealers and prostitutes

They know how to provide some "love"

Our nurses don't have 5 minutes extra

To reassure, to validate, just to be there

Our doctors are too important and busy

To take proper time to examine a patient

We take some guesses, and we observe

We do very scientific experimentation

We give some pills we call medicine

And we see if this gets better, or not

Because everyone already knows

Each body is uniquely mysterious

To know exactly what doesn't work

Takes a lot of patience, rest and time

But who has any of that to spend

Who has some extra time to rest

Who has sufficient budget to heal

Who has access to some patience

What do you mean "quality vacations"

Have you seen my urgent missed calls

Have you seen 286 unread notifications

I got in emails since I woke this morning

I don't have time to take proper care

Of my needs, health and happiness

Because I am saving the entire world

With my very super sustainable job

A job that makes me take airplanes often

Almost every week to have some meetings

Where we are all jet lagged, tired, stressed

Deciding on how to make airplanes greener

And no one seems to be able to realize

That if all of us took fewer business trips

To other continents just for a meeting

We would not need to talk about "green"

When you tell them that their airplanes

Are polluting air, water, soil and nature

They answer you that it doesn't matter

Because airplanes can bring medicine

In some contexts and in some situations

Airplanes indeed can save lives, be useful

They have many beautiful social benefits

But it's still not an excuse for a private jet

It's not because your salary and wealth

Is higher than the GDP of your country

That you should be entitled to just burn

Hundreds of barrels of oil per hour of flight

It's not because you are a celebrity

That you need thousands of tonnes

Of hardcore metal just for yourself

To fly over the ocean comfortably

Per hour of flight on the private jet

You emit between 2 to 8 tonnes of CO2

I am not sure you realize what this means

Most humans don't spend this in a year

I get it, you are super rich now, so why not

But do you realize that we need a new mine

Just to sustain your way of living, working

We could save a forest if you flew like others

Your super sustainable diet or whatever

Is completely useless and just hypocritical

You could feed and educate an entire village

With your "travelling expenses" budget line

How do you even take yourself seriously

Talking about "sustainable development"

In a luxury 5-star hotel conference ballroom

Where you drink fancy wine on public expenses

You ask for money from public sources, people

You use natural resources for almost free

You cut the salaries of the employees

But you still have your unlimited fun

Here's what they don't want you to see

The connection between both these crimes

The lack of proper emotional health infrastructure

Creates the very leaders who extinguish our humanity

When a human being is emotionally sick, hurt

But has nowhere to go for healing or numbing

They compensate with power, money, status

They consume the world to fill the inner void

The billionaire flying private jets for nothing

Is the same child who never learned to cry

Who never had someone hold their pain

Who never learned that they were enough

The CEO cutting workers' salaries

Is the same teenager who was told

That feelings are weakness, love is naive

That only winners deserve to be heard, to rule

The politician lying to the public

Is the same person who learned early

That truth is dangerous, vulnerability kills

That manipulation is the only way to survive

You think these are separate problems

Personal healing and planetary destruction

But they're the same wound expressing

In individual shapes and collective forms

The outer pollution is inner pollution

The environmental crisis is emotional crisis

The climate emergency is the urgency

Of hearts that have never learned to love

When you can't feel your own raw pain

You become numb to others' suffering

When you can't cry for your own losses

You can't cry sorrow for the dying forests

When you're addicted to avoiding feelings

You become addicted to avoiding the truth

When you're terrified of your own darkness

You project it onto the entire world to feel it

But here's the part they don't want you to know

Every time you heal your own emotional wounds

You're literally healing the collective unconscious

You're withdrawing your vote for our global insanity

Every time you choose to feel instead of numbing

You're choosing life over death, you can transform

Every time you choose presence over productivity

You're choosing wise sanity over clever madness

Every time you choose connection over consumption

You're starving the system that feeds on corruption

Every time you choose enough or less over more

You're disrupting the entire engine of destruction

The true reason there's no emotional health system

Is because emotional health threatens their dream

That makes money in our current economy scheme

Healthy people don't become very naive consumers

People who know inside they're already whole

Don't buy products promising completion

People who can feel their own pain

Don't need to inflict it on others

People who can sit with their emotions

Don't need endless boring distractions

People who can love themselves truly

Don't need to dominate anything else

So, they keep us sick, keep us super busy

Keep us numb, keep us shopping, eating

Keep us competing, keep us consuming

Keep us believing we're not enough as is

But what if we created healing centers

On every corner instead of Starbucks

What if we had emotional support

As accessible as physical first aid

What if children learned to feel the heart

Before they learned to perform the mind

What if we taught real emotional literacy

Before we taught them to nicely compete

What if we had human grief counselors

In every school, every workplace

What if we had anger workshops

Instead of anger management of denial

What if we had fear integration sessions

Instead of fear suppression techniques

What if we had shame healing circles

Instead of shame-based motivation

What if we had normal love practices

That didn't require buying anything

What if we had joy and bliss cultivation

That didn't depend on achieving something

What if we measured success

By how much we could sense

What if we measured wealth

By how much we could love

What if we measured intelligence

By how much we could integrate

What if we could measure power

By how much we could surrender

Imagine leaders who give wisdom

Who could feel their own suffering

Who could cry for their own losses

Who could love their own shadows

Imagine CEOs who made decisions

From their hearts and not their fears

Who prioritize long-term flourishing

Over short-term superficial profits

Imagine politicians who could admit

When they don't know something

Who could say "I was so wrong"

Without it ending their careers

Imagine a reality where vulnerability

Was considered the highest courage

Where authenticity was the currency

Where love was the greatest success

This is not naive idealism of utopia

This is the most practical solution

To every crisis we're facing currently

From climate change to mental health

The emotional health system we need

Isn't just clinics and healthy therapists

It's a complete cultural transformation

Of how we relate to being human, alive

It's communities where people gather

Not to fix each other, not to save or help

But to witness each other raw and naked

In all their beautiful brokenness of whole

It's workplaces where people can cry

Without being seen as weak, foolish

Where people can express anger

Without being seen as dangerous

It's schools where children can learn

That all emotions are valuable insight

That feelings aren't problems to solve

But allies to listen to more attentively

It's families where parents model

How to be with difficult emotions

How to repair when they mess up

How to love without judgements

It's a society that fully understands

That proper emotional intelligence

Is the foundation of everything else

Including environmental coherence

You want to save our planet, nature

Start by saving your own deep heart

You want to transform our humanity

Start by accepting your own wounds

You want to stop the outer destruction

Stop destroying yourself, your essence

You want to end the viciousness, abuse

End the violence against your own soul

This is the revolution we all need

Not just political or economic

But emotional and logical

A revolution of the heart

And it starts with you dear reader

Taking your own emotional health

As seriously as your physical health

As important as your financial safety

It starts with you demanding hard

Emotional healthcare as a right

Not a privilege for the wealthy

But a necessity for all beings

It starts with you cocreating

The healing spaces you need

Not waiting for some permission

But giving yourself what you deserve

It starts with you fully recognizing

That your deep feelings matter

That your pain is valid, wise

That your healing is sacred

It starts with you understanding

That when you restore yourself

You heal your elders and kids

You reconcile our community

You heal the world

One heart at a time

One feeling per instant

One breath at this moment

The emotional health system

Isn't something we need to build

It's something we need to remember

We are already this system in emergence

We are those healers

We are that medicine

We are our desired star

We've all been waiting for

This magic clinic is wherever you are

This hospital is your own crazy heart

This medicine is your deep presence

This cure is your honest compassion

So, stop waiting for someone else

To create what you need and want

Stop waiting for the outside system

To embrace in love your desires inside

Start being the transformation

You want to see in the world

Try to embody the healing

You deserve to receive

Start being this love

You want to experience

Start being the wholeness

You want us all to remember

The emotional health system

Is not a someday or maybe

It's a right now possibility

It's a you and me reality

And it begins again

With this breath

This moment

This choice

To feel

To share

To cherish

To be whole

Right here

Precisely now

Exactly as you are

Surely how you want

The revolution of my love

Has already begun dancing

In your pretty heart wondering

In your courageous soul dreaming

You dared

To feel it all

And love it all

And integrate it all

Welcome home

To your own heart

Welcome inside you

To your own innocence

Into the pure emergence

You always loved this game

But had numbed my pleasure

In the busyness of your surviving

Welcome to our unknown desires

To the emotional health system

That exists already inside you

Cocreating our becoming

And it is us all, together

And it is everything

We need or want

To simply love

To become

To belong

To dare

To be
